What if you need to upload a bigger database to Transfer Website?

If you’re trying to upload a large database to your new server or cPanel, you may run into the issue of exceeding the maximum upload size limit set by your server. To overcome this, you can use the following methods:

Increase the upload size limit: You can increase the upload size limit in your server’s PHP configuration file (php.ini). Look for the upload_max_filesize and post_max_size options and increase their values to a higher number. Keep in mind that this may not work on all servers, as some hosting providers do not allow you to change these values.

Import the database through phpMyAdmin: If you’re unable to increase the upload size limit, you can import the database through the phpMyAdmin interface. To do this, log in to your cPanel and look for the phpMyAdmin icon. Once you’re in phpMyAdmin, select the database you want to import the data into and click on the Import tab. Choose the database backup file and click the Go button.

Use the command line: If you’re comfortable with using the command line, you can import the database backup using the mysql command. You’ll need to have access to the command line on your server or have SSH access to your server. Once you have access, log in to the server and navigate to the directory where the database backup file is located. Then, run the following command to import the database:

mysql -u [username] -p [database_name] < [database_backup_file].sql

Replace [username] with your MySQL username, [database_name] with the name of the database you want to import the data into, and [database_backup_file].sql with the name of the database backup file.

These are the main methods for uploading a large database to your new server or cPanel. Choose the method that works best for you, and you should be able to successfully upload and import your database.
